Dr. Thorson is the first provider I have seen in years who shows true devotion to her job and to ensuring the wellbeing of her patients. She has spent the most time with me out of any provider I have ever come to. She took an extensive family history, which was unheard of with previous providers I had seen. She took time to explain everything to me from the inheritance pattern of highly probable conditions, to the way the screening tests worked and when we should see results. Dr. Thorson was extremely kind and respectful both to me and to my mother, who accompanied me during this visit. She even took the time to schedule a follow up appointment with us before we even left the exam room. She is an absolute gem in the healthcare field and I look forward to my next visit with her, which is saying something considering why I came in the first place.
