Biography
Ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Wendy Lee, M.D.’s areas of expertise include oculofacial plastic, orbital, and reconstructive surgery; ophthalmic and orbital oncology; and aesthetic and cosmetic treatments. Her career goals include making an impact through teaching and patient care, hence her dedication to academics. At Bascom Palmer, she has flourished in patient care, innovation, and education. She developed one of the only academic multispecialty aesthetic centers and invented novel instruments used in daily surgeries. She conducts research and publishes on topics that add to the current literature. Most importantly, she has prioritized teaching and is accompanied daily in surgery and clinics by residents, fellows, medical students, and observers. She participates in international and national medical missions and is a coveted speaker around the world.
