Michelle is a native Floridian and graduate of the University of Miami, where she earned her degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with extensive research experience. She completed her Physician Assistant training at Miami Dade College.

She currently practices in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University of Miami Health System, specializing in moderate to severe asthma and COPD. Michelle serves as a Clinical Research Sub-Investigator within the Asthma/COPD division, with a focused emphasis on biologic therapies and novel interventions for obstructive airway disease. She is actively involved in clinical trials, protocol development, patient recruitment, and integrating evidence-based research into clinical practice.

Her prior experience includes trauma surgery and critical care at a Level I trauma center, as well as extensive work in neurology, pain management, and endocrinology. This diverse background allows her to bring a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to complex respiratory patients.

Michelle is passionate about advancing personalized medicine, improving quality of life for patients with chronic airway disease, and contributing to the evolving landscape of biologic therapy.
