Kashyap Tadisina, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Tadisina earned his baccalaureate at Washington University in St. Louis and medical degree at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine. During medical school, he completed a clinical and translational research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He completed his integrated plastic surgery residency at Saint Louis University in Missouri, where he served as administrative chief resident. He pursued subspecialty fellowship training in hand, peripheral nerve, and microsurgery at Washington University in St. Louis’s Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, working with international leaders in hand and peripheral nerve surgery.

Dr. Tadisina specializes in the full spectrum of hand and wrist surgery, with an emphasis on peripheral nerve surgery, including nerve decompression, nerve transfers, neuroma management, and brachial plexus injury. In addition, he has an interest in lower extremity reconstruction, mohs reconstruction, wounds, and general reconstruction.

Dr. Tadisina joins the Plastic Surgery Division as Director of Clinical Research. His research interests include clinical outcomes, technique optimization, health disparities, education and mentorship, and device innovation in plastic, hand, and peripheral nerve surgery. He is a member of multiple national plastic surgery and hand surgery societies, has over 50 peer reviewed publications, and serves as a peer reviewer for multiple scientific journals.

He practices with the philosophy of treating each patient as he would his own family member. He looks forward to serving the Miami community and bringing the latest techniques/technologies to his patients.
