Dr. Townend has a great “bedside manner“ for the amount of people he has to see on a daily basis, even though his visits are short he’s thorough. Also the nurse Belkis that handles the final step before the injections is extremely personable. She make sure that you’re comfortable and always has a smile on her face even when things aren’t going so great for her. She seems to leave those things at the door when she comes into work and treats people with kindness and respect I really appreciate her.

Dr. Townsend is incredible. He is always busy but always finds time to answer questions, and show he cares about you as a person. I trust his opinions completely. The parking lot is poorly lit so I treat myself to valet parking. This time the valet personnel were particularly good natured and working hard with common sense. Made the extra cost very much worth it.

The doctor appeared rushed and callus there was barely an acknowledgement or hello. There was no explanation of my condition or progress toward improving it and he didn't ask if I had questions. He was in and out in a flash. This showed up in the quality of care too and did not illicit confidence in his ability to carry out my procedure effectively and with care and safety in mind.

I'm pleased that the doctor did not seem to be in a rush to move on to his next patient. I appreciate the fact that the doctors time is the largest constraint for the number of patients that can be seen in the day, and his availability to evaluate and talk through my particular issues made the long scheduling wait well worth it.

Provider very dismissive regarding appointment concerns. Offered no education/discussion. Very negative overall experience with provider. Disregarded concerns several times throughout encounter and wanted to rush out the room. So waited over 3 hours for a provider that didn't even spend 4 minutes in room.

I get excellent care from Dr Townsend. Won't have another doctor inject my eye.
