Professional Biography

Joann Benalloun is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in Otology at the University of Miami Department of Otolaryngology, where she has served since February 2021. Before becoming an advanced practice provider, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Miami ENT Clinic from November 2017 through June 2019, gaining valuable otolaryngology and patient care experience.

Joann earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University in May 2017 and her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), from the University of Miami in August 2020. Her clinical experience includes primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, gerontology, infectious diseases, transplant infectious diseases, and otology.

Throughout her professional development, Joann has completed clinical rotations and volunteer experiences across multiple medical specialties. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and contributing to the community's health and well-being.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Hebrew, Joann is dedicated to communicating effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
