Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Leichter immersed himself in basic science and clinical research in Dr. Thomas Brady's Cardiovascular Imaging lab at The Massachusetts General Hospital. His training continued at the Saint Rafael campus of Yale New Haven Hospital where he completed a Transitional Year Internship. After this, Dr. Leichter completed a radiology residency at Temple University in Philadelphia followed by a Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Leichter completed his post doctoral training with a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

While there, Dr. Leichter established the first dedicated Interventional Radiology clinic where he focused on treating patients with severe arterial and superficial venous disease.
Recently Dr. Leichter's family has expanded to include two beautiful children. They decided to relocate to South Florida to be closer to family. Dr. Leichter is happy to be back home, as a member of a great academic institution.
