Dr. Iliana Hurtado Rendón is a cardiovascular specialist with advanced postgraduate training in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Endovascular Interventions. She completed a Peripheral Endovascular Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, where her clinical focus included the management of complex peripheral vascular disease, limb salvage, and minimally invasive endovascular therapies.

She previously completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at West Virginia University and a General Cardiology Fellowship at Summa Health System, Northeast Ohio Medical University. Her Internal Medicine training was completed at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York, affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Hurtado Rendón is the recipient of numerous distinctions for academic, clinical, and research excellence. In addition to her clinical practice, she has maintained a strong commitment to academic medicine and scholarship. She has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, including contributions to the American College of Cardiology's ACCSAP Peripheral Vascular Disease Chapter Review and the Transcatheter Heart Valve Handbook. Her research has explored diverse areas of cardiovascular medicine, with a particular focus on peripheral endovascular interventions.
