Biography
Dr. Terrero is a graduate of the hematology/oncology fellowship program at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. She graduated from medical school at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and from the internal medicine residency program at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Terrero has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Clinical Oncology, Current Oncology Reports, and Cancers. Dr. Terrero’s research focuses on investigating new ways to introduce immunotherapy to treat gastrointestinal cancers. Her work has been presented at the gastrointestinal meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
