George Roshdy Attia, MD

Dr. George Attia is the Associate Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and an Associate Professor of Clinical at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Attia is a long-time expert in the field of Reproductive Medicine. Before taking charge of UHealth’s Reproductive and Fertility Center he was the In-Vitro Fertilization Director at the University of Texas.
He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and his Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Infertility and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (F.A.C.O.G.).
His career advice has been sought by various media outlets and his work has been published in multiple media journals. He is the recipient of the 2012-2019 Castel Connolly’s Top Doctor Award, 2010-2019 Patient’s Choice Award, 2010-2019 Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award, and the 2014 Top Ten Doctors Award.
Dr. Attia has been the author of several scientific publications in the field of reproductive endocrinology and fertility, and served as senior investigator in many clinical trials. He has been guest speaker to numerous national and international fertility conferences; he is recognized as one of the top educators in the field of fertility.
