Adam T Lloyd, SLP

Dr. Lloyd's research focuses on understanding factors that influence vocal health, function, and quality of life across diverse populations. His scholarship explores the epidemiology of voice disorders, outcomes of behavioral interventions, patient-reported outcome measures, interdisciplinary models of care, and the integration of performing arts and healthcare to optimize communication and vocal performance.

Dr. Adam Lloyd is Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology and Vocal Performance and Deputy Chief of Speech Pathology at the University of Miami. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of voice and upper airway disorders and works collaboratively across the Miller School of Medicine, Frost School of Music, and School of Nursing and Health Studies in clinical care, teaching, research, and program development. Dr. Lloyd's scholarly interests include vocal health, voice rehabilitation outcomes, vocal pedagogy, and the singing voice. He is also a member of the multidisciplinary team providing inclusive care for the LGBTQ+ community, with a particular focus on gender-affirming voice care. With additional training in yoga and mind-body practices, RYT-200, Dr. Lloyd integrates these principles into his teaching, research, and clinical practice.
